Colombian sugarcane decaf from Popayán in Cauca, grown between 1,500 and 2,000 metres. Colombia, Castillo, and Catura varieties, washed. Caramel and tangerine are the obvious notes, but vanilla and butter sit in behind them, with the gentle sweetness of raw sugar cane running through the whole cup. Medium to dark roast. Monkey Board describe it as a well balanced floral cup, which is accurate. The floral character is subtle rather than dominant, which keeps it approachable.
