Grown in volcanic soil near Lake Amatitlán in Guatemala, where the Pacaya volcano makes the ground rich enough to support five different bean varieties. Fully washed, then CO2 decaffeinated. The CO2 method is precise. It targets caffeine molecules specifically and leaves everything else alone. Kiwi, butterscotch, and brazil nut. An unusual set of notes, and a welcome break from the chocolate and caramel norm.
