Colombia Sugarcane Decaf

Glen Lyon source this single origin from Huila and have it custom decaffeinated in Colombia using sugarcane EA. Keeping the process in country matters. The value stays with the growing community, and the beans travel less between harvest and roasting. The EA method uses ethyl acetate from fermented sugarcane, which bonds to the caffeine molecules without stripping the flavour compounds. Sweet and bright. Glen Lyon specifically cupped this for quality before committing to the lot, which is more rigour than most roasters apply to their decaf sourcing.
